One workflow, written down
Pick one task you do over and over. You get back a document that separates what AI may draft from what a person must keep — three to four pages, yours to keep and use.
What you get
1. What AI may draft
How far the task can be handed over — drafting, filling fixed sections, first-pass triage — broken into concrete units rather than vague promises.
2. What a person must keep
Where the "is this OK to send" call sits, and who picks up the exceptions. As a rule, nothing that produces a figure your client will act on goes near a model.
3. A completeness check for that task
What has to be known before the work can move on. Most rework starts as something nobody asked for at the beginning.
4. How it fails, and what to do
The failure modes specific to this task. Who notices, how, and how it gets put back.
5. How to tell whether it worked
Not "it feels faster". A number you can count — how often work came back — measured before and after.
Why this isn't free any more
I used to do this for nothing. I stopped.
A free review costs you no money, but it does ask you to pay in other currencies: admitting to a stranger where your business is inefficient, doing the analytical work of describing your own operation, and trusting that none of it becomes a sales sequence. Asking someone to pay all three upfront, to a practice without a public client list, was the wrong way round.
Paid, none of that applies. You answer a fixed set of questions; the analysis is my job. It's a transaction, so no trust has to be extended in advance. The price is set low for exactly that reason.
How it runs
1. You fill in the form (10–15 min)
Six questions about one task. Rough notes are fine — I'd rather have your words than a tidy summary.
2. I invoice you
A$300. Work starts once payment clears. If I read it and think it's outside what I can usefully do, I'll say so and not invoice you.
3. Delivered in five business days
By email. If anything needs clarifying, one round of questions is included.
4. Then it's yours
No follow-up sequence. Use the document however you like. If you later want it built rather than written, that's a separate conversation you can start.
Worth saying up front
I don't want your data
No contracts, client records or financials. The shape of the work is enough. Keeping confidential material away from the model is a design assumption, not an afterthought.
No video calls, no phone
Email only. Time zones stop mattering, and everything decided stays in writing you can re-read.
Not included
Tool setup and implementation, anything that generates figures, and ongoing support. Those are quoted separately.
There are limits
Without seeing your actual files this is a read from the shape of the work. Where a real answer needs real data, I'll say so rather than guess.
Tasks this suits
Yours doesn't have to look like these.
- First replies to enquiries, where 80% of the content is the same every time
- Proposals and quotes that are structurally identical but get rewritten each time
- The same information issued twice because it has to exist in two languages
- Fixed-format applications and reports — and the checking that follows them
- Monthly client reporting and progress updates
- Articles, product copy, posts: volume is required but quality can't slip
⚠️ What it doesn't suit: work where every instance needs a genuinely different judgement, and anything whose output is a figure. The second one I design to keep away from the model entirely.
